Porta Potty 28-Day Billing, Explained
Jobsite porta potties are billed in 28-day cycles, not calendar months. Eight callers in our review asked how that works. Here are the rules and examples.
- Porta potties bill every 28 days because service runs weekly, and 28 days is exactly 4 weekly visits.
- Cycles add up by full 28-day blocks, and they are not prorated.
- To stop billing, call (432) 239-8866 for pickup before the next cycle starts.

Why bill every 28 days?
Porta potties bill every 28 days because service runs weekly, and 28 days is exactly 4 weekly visits. A calendar month would mean 4 visits some months and 5 in others. A year has 13 cycles of 28 days.
How do cycles add up?
Cycles add up by full 28-day blocks, and they are not prorated. A 5-week job covers 2 cycles. A 3-month job covers 4 cycles (84 days). Delivery and pickup are charged once, on the first invoice.
| Job length | Cycles | Delivery charged |
|---|---|---|
| 3 weeks | 1 | Once |
| 5 weeks | 2 | Once |
| 8 weeks | 2 | Once |
| 3 months | 4 | Once |
| 6 months | 7 | Once |
How do you stop billing?
To stop billing, call (432) 239-8866 for pickup before the next cycle starts. Billing stops after the cycle in which you call. We pick up within 1 to 2 business days.
Related questions
Our dispatchers hear these 3 questions often, including “What happens if I need it past 28 days?” and “How much would the second month be?” The answers are written the way we explain them on calls. Starting prices appear only here, and your itemized quote confirms the exact total.
What happens if I need it past 28 days?
The rental rolls into a new 28-day cycle and the card on file is charged for that cycle. Weekly service continues. A month and a week counts as two cycles, so call before the next cycle starts if the job is ending.
How much would the second month be?
The second 28-day cycle is the rental rate only. Delivery and pickup were already paid on the first invoice. So month two is cheaper than month one.
Do I have to call for pickup, or will you just come get it?
Event pickups are scheduled when you book, so you do not need to call. Jobsite and long-term units are not picked up automatically. Call (432) 239-8866 when the job is done. Billing stops at the end of the 28-day cycle in which you call.
