How many restrooms does a wedding need?
A 150-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 5 standard-size units: 150 ÷ 40 guests per unit for a 4–8 hour event rounds up to 4, then add 1 unit because alcohol is served. At least 1 should be wheelchair-accessible, and 3 hand-wash stations cover the food.
| Guests | 5-hour reception with bar | Or a trailer |
|---|---|---|
| 75 | 3 units | 2-stall trailer |
| 100 | 4 units | 2-stall trailer + 1 deluxe |
| 150 | 5 units | 4-stall trailer |
| 200 | 7 units | 4-stall trailer + 2 deluxe |
| 300 | 10 units | Two 4-stall trailers |
Should a wedding rent porta potties or a restroom trailer?
A wedding should rent a restroom trailer when the venue has level ground, a 110-volt outlet and a water hose, and guests are dressed for an evening reception. Rent deluxe flushing units for ranch and pasture venues with no hookups. Many weddings mix both.

When should you book wedding restrooms?
Book wedding restrooms 2 to 4 weeks ahead, and 6 or more weeks ahead for restroom trailers on spring and fall Saturdays. In our call review, weddings and graduations were booked 2 to 4 weeks out. Peak weekends sold out of trailers and deluxe units first.
How should wedding restrooms be placed?
Place wedding restrooms out of the ceremony sightline but within about 150 feet of the reception, on a lit path, downwind of the food. Ranch venues need a firm route for the truck. Tell us about caliche roads, cattle guards and gate combos when you book.
Questions renters ask before they book
Our dispatchers hear these 6 questions often, including “How much are those restroom trailers?” and “What's the price difference between the standard and the flushing unit?” The answers are written the way we explain them on calls. Starting prices appear only here, and your itemized quote confirms the exact total.
How much are those restroom trailers?
A 2-stall restroom trailer starts at $1,750 per event and a 4-stall starts at $2,950. Delivery, setup, stocking and pickup are included. Trailers need a water hookup and a standard power outlet, or we quote a generator and water tank.
What's the price difference between the standard and the flushing unit?
A deluxe flushing unit with a sink inside starts at $325 for an event. That is about $125 more than a standard unit. Guests get a foot-pump flush and a sink in the same stall.
Can you deliver on the day of the event instead of the day before?
We deliver the day before your event by default, and that costs nothing extra. Day-before delivery means your unit is set and checked even if a truck runs late on event day. If you need an event-day morning drop, ask for it. A timed delivery fee may apply.
How soon do I need to book so it's there on time?
For jobsites in Odessa or Midland, calling the day before is enough. For weekend events, call by Thursday. For weddings, festivals and restroom trailers, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead. For towns more than 60 miles away, allow 2 to 3 days.
What hookups does a restroom trailer need?
A 2-stall restroom trailer needs a standard 110-volt outdoor outlet on its own circuit and a garden-hose water connection within about 50 feet. No hookups on site? We can quote a generator and fresh-water tank.
Does the flushing unit need my water? I'm on a well.
No. Our deluxe flushing unit has its own fresh-water tank that feeds the foot-pump flush and sink, so it never touches your well or septic. Restroom trailers are different. Trailers need a hose hookup or a water tank we supply.
